Global Urban Innovation opens application for Lagos, Nairobi, Kigali entrepreneurs for Emergent Cities Challenge
Entrepreneurs from Lagos, Nairobi, and Kigali were invited to apply for the Global Urban Innovation Challenge for Emergent Cities.
A global Urban Innovation Challenge has been established by Utopia and the World Economic Forum’s new Centre for Urban Transformation to engage an ecosystem of 800 innovative urban entrepreneurs, investors, and mayors from Asia, Africa, and Latin America.

Entrepreneurs who are developing real-world urban tech solutions that contribute to a better planet, enable dynamic communities, and improve human welfare are eligible for the challenge. Applicants from Lagos, Nairobi, and Kigali are encouraged to apply.
The winners will gain improved visibility, connections with investors, over US$25,000 in startup resources, and the chance to join the World Economic Forum‘s Technology Pioneers.
Early-stage startups and teams are encouraged to apply here by January 22.
