As the whole world in the battle to overcome the world pandemic COVID-19, lifebank just setup up a free testing center in Lagos, Nigeria.
Yesterday, LifeBank in partnership with the Nigerian Institute of Medical Research (NIMR) launched a mobile testing center to help expand testing in our community for #COVID19! , CEO Lifebank, Temie Giwa-Tubosun announced.
She added, we had the idea 5 days ago, built the facility, got funded & launched! We’ve tested 70 folks and can’t wait to expand testing to 200 a day!

According to the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NDC), the cases to be tested by Lifebank must align with the national case definitions which include:
1. Returning travelers with fever, cough or difficulty breathing
2. Contacts of confirmed cases with these symptoms
3. Those with fever & respiratory symptoms in areas of moderate-high prevalence
HOW LIFEBANK COVID-19 TESTING CENTER WORKS

The goal of Lifebank is to test 2000 COVID-19 cases in a very short time. This will support the work of NCDC to quickly curb the spread of the world’s pandemic.
